Marionette Lines
The vertical wrinkles that run from the corners of the lips to the chin (marionette lines) can not only put years on your facial aesthetic but also make you appear permanently sad and sullen.
With hyaluronic acid fillers, marionette lines can be lifted and diminished, giving you a younger-looking lower face that boasts supple and tighter-looking skin.

What are Marionette lines?
Marionette lines emerge as a result of genetics and age, but smoking can exacerbate them further; typically, they start appearing around our late 20s/early 30s.
Marionette fillers are made up of hyaluronic acid, which occurs naturally in the skin. The fillers replenish moisture, drawing hyaluronic acid within the skin, eliminating the shadow created by the lines and making you look younger, refreshed, and not as if you are frowning or sad.
Marionette fillers also produce a lifting and tightening effect on the area of skin in the nose-to-mouth region.
What can you expect from the Marionette filler treatment?
- A full consultation to discuss your treatment goals and assess your suitability for treatment (pregnant and breastfeeding women are not suitable for fillers). We will go through the treatment process with you and provide full transparency on fees, a technique used to administer the filler and possible side effects.
- Treatment planning to assess how much filler is needed to fill the creases created by the corner of the mouth to chin lines.
- Administer the filler (a topical numbing cream is applied to numb the treatment sites).
- Aftercare advice before you leave the clinic. Aftercare includes adequate hydration, as dehydration causes the filler to break down faster.
