What is lip blush treatment?
Have you been dreaming of fuller lips, but you don’t want to have to keep applying lipstick all day long?
That’s where lip blush treatment comes in. Lip blush is a long-term lipliner treatment that involves the application of a specific colour pigment underneath the skin. The technique used to apply the lip blush is known as micro pigmentation and creates the effect of luscious, plump, defined and supple-looking lips.
What can you expect from the lip blush treatment?
- A full consultation to discuss your treatment goals and assess your suitability for treatment. We will go through the treatment process with you and help you to choose the pigment you most prefer. We will also ask you about your make-up routine and lifestyle and consider everything, including your facial profile, skin type, eyes and brows edge definition and lip symmetry, before applying the pigments you choose. A patch test is required prior to treatment.
- Treatment: A topical numbing cream is applied, and the lip blush colour is then applied underneath the outer layer of skin on the lips. The pigment is carefully layered by one of our aestheticians, who takes great care to ensure the pigment appears natural and lightweight on the lips (and not too shiny).
